Meatloaf with Egg in the
Middle
Ingredients:
30 ounces ground
beef (optionally ½ beef – ½ pork)
6 eggs
(one raw and 5 hard boiled eggs)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 minced or chopped onion
2–3 cloves garlic
2 slices white bread, crusts removed, soaked in a
little milk and then squeeze
2 tablespoon ketchup
2tablespoon
Dark Brown Sugar
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients with 1 raw egg except
5 hard boiled eggs. Leave in refrigerator about 1 hour.
Place half the loaf that has
been formed rectangular
loaf on bottom of metal pan thickness of 0.5 inch.
Press down the middle to form a gully.
Place the five hard boiled eggs in the gully.
Place the rest of the mixture that has been formed in to a loaf over the top and push together the sides to form a perfect loaf. None of the eggs should show through the sides.
Make a loaf about 4 inches across and 10 inches long (or use a meatloaf pan).
Mix ketchup and brown sugar well and brush over the top and sides of meatloaf.
Press down the middle to form a gully.
Place the five hard boiled eggs in the gully.
Place the rest of the mixture that has been formed in to a loaf over the top and push together the sides to form a perfect loaf. None of the eggs should show through the sides.
Make a loaf about 4 inches across and 10 inches long (or use a meatloaf pan).
Mix ketchup and brown sugar well and brush over the top and sides of meatloaf.
Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes and 350°F for 40 minutes. Do not
overcook.
Take out of oven and let rest
for 10-15 minutes.

Rolat od mlevenog mesa i jaja
Sastojci :
800g mlevene junetine (opciono ½ junetine – ½
svinjskog)
6 jaja
( 1 zivo i 5 tvrdo kuvanih)
1 kasicica soli
1 kasicica crnog
bibera
1 melven ili sitno seckan crni luk
2–3 cesnja belog lika
2 parceta belog
hleba bez korice, potopljenog u malo mleka a zatim ocedjenog
2 kasike
kecapa
2 kasike
smedjeg secera
Priprema:
Izmesati sve sastojke zajedno
sa 1 svezim jajetom bez 5 vrdo kuvanih jaja i lepo zamesiti rukama. Ostaviti u
frizider da otstoji oko 1 sat.
Staviti pola mase za rolat - veknu
na dno metalnog pleha i rastanjiti u obliku pravougaonika debljine 1cm.
Na sredinu poredjati 5 tvrdo
kuvanih jaja.
Staviti ostatak mesa preko jaja i formirati veknu - rolat lepo sastavljajuci krajeve i strane tako da se jaja ne vide.
Napraviti veknu – rolat velicine oko 10 x 30 (ili uzeti pleh za veknu - rolat).
Pomesati kecap i smedji secer i cetkicom premazati rolat – veknu.
Staviti ostatak mesa preko jaja i formirati veknu - rolat lepo sastavljajuci krajeve i strane tako da se jaja ne vide.
Napraviti veknu – rolat velicine oko 10 x 30 (ili uzeti pleh za veknu - rolat).
Pomesati kecap i smedji secer i cetkicom premazati rolat – veknu.
Peci na 200°C
oko 10 minuta a onda na 180°C
oko 40 minunta. Paziti da se ne prepece.
Izvaditi iz rerne i ostaviti
da se odmori 10-15 minuta.
